About Erin

Erin graduated from Northern Arizona University's School of Nursing in 1999. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She worked as an RN in the neonatal intensive care units at CHOC and Loma Linda. She is also a lactation educator and helps mothers learn to breastfeed their babies. She completed her International Board Certification in Lactation Consulting in 2006. Although she has worked in a highly technical setting, she believes that birth and breastfeeding should be allowed to happen with the least amount of intervention possible. She is a strong advocate for her patients being exclusively breastfed whenever medically possible.

Erin is married to Kevin and they have one daughter, Zoe Jewel, born February 2004. She used a midwife/doula team for the unmedicated natural birth of her baby and successfully breastfed for over two years. Kevin and Erin are happily expecting a baby boy in February 2007!

Erin stays home with Zoe during the day and works on the weekends and evenings. She is active at Saddleback Church and enjoys camping, the beach, and spending time with her family. She lives in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calfiornia.
